Can I block ChatGPT but allow it for homework time?

Yes. Block it all day, or allow it only at the times you choose, such as school days from four to six.

Does it block AI inside other apps?

It blocks the AI services that other apps and AI agents use behind the scenes, so many apps lose their AI features. AI that is built into an app's own servers, such as Snapchat's My AI or Meta AI inside WhatsApp, can only be blocked by blocking that app.

Why block AI companion apps?

Many AI companion and role-play apps are made for adults, and chat that never ends can pull children in. Several are rated 18+ in the app stores.

Will Google Search or Microsoft Office stop working?

No. SwearGuard only blocks each AI app's own addresses, never the shared ones, so search, email and school tools keep working.
