SwearGuard makes two separate products, and each has its own privacy policy.
Website visits, cookies and advertising measurement
Updated 6 October 2026
This section covers the public swearguard.com website. Our Google Ads and Analytics tags are not installed in the customer portal, and do not receive your family's DNS activity, blocked websites or account details from us.
If you choose Allow measurement, we load Google Ads to measure visits from our advertising and Google Analytics to measure website use. Google may store advertising and analytics cookies, including cookies whose names start with _gcl_ or _ga, and receive information such as the page visited, ad-click information, your device and browser details, and your network address. We keep advertising personalization switched off. Google Analytics storage is enabled only after permission; Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control prevent Analytics measurement.
With the same permission, SwearGuard counts public website page views, referral hostnames and broad device types. We estimate visitors using a daily rotating code calculated from your network address and browser family; we do not store the raw address, full browser string, page query or account details in these records. Estimates reset daily and records are kept for 35 days. We honour Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for these counts. Declining measurement prevents this counting.
If you choose Reject or have not made a choice, the Google tags do not load. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days using local storage. You can revisit Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Rejecting after acceptance stops future measurement and removes Google Ads and Analytics cookies accessible to this website; it does not erase information Google has already received.
Google may process information outside your country. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's cookie information. For questions, contact support@swearguard.com.
