SwearGuard

Refund policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

This policy covers SwearGuard DNS subscriptions. SwearGuard DNS is operated and provided by Jacques Goosen t/a SwearGuard, George, Western Cape, South Africa, who is also your support contact.

Subscriptions bought through our checkout are sold by Freemius, Inc., our authorized reseller and the Merchant of Record for those purchases. Freemius takes the payment, handles invoicing and any sales tax or VAT, and processes refunds under this policy. We review refund requests and are your first point of contact.

Free and paid plans

Free has no charge and needs no card. Our satisfaction guarantee below applies to payments for Basic, Family and Family Plus. Checkout shows the first payment amount and date before you approve a subscription.

14-day satisfaction guarantee

14-day satisfaction guarantee. If SwearGuard doesn’t work as described, or you hit a problem we can’t fix, contact us within 14 days of a payment and we’ll refund it in full. We’ll usually try to help sort out the issue first. Refunds aren’t offered for a change of mind once the service has been used. You can cancel anytime, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

If something went wrong

If you were charged twice or charged after you cancelled, contact us so we can check the payment with Freemius. Your statement may show Freemius rather than SwearGuard. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Disputes and chargebacks for purchases through Freemius are handled by Freemius.

How to ask

Email support@swearguard.com from the address you signed up with, or use our contact form. Once we approve a refund, Freemius sends it back to the payment method you used. It usually reaches you within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank. You can also see your purchases and invoices at customers.freemius.com.

Purchases through our checkout are sold and billed by Freemius, Inc., 4023 Kennett Pike, Wilmington, DE 19807, USA, the reseller and Merchant of Record, under its Terms & Conditions of Sale.
